So this idea dawned upon me after I considered carefully the idea of an eternal soul, which is what a painting is in essence, It's a copulation of things, fragmented and unanimous and tossed together into a small assemble of thoughts and emotions, for an artist to display in hopes to accomplish immortalizing something so that maybe another human being could find it and feel from it, be moved by it. So to make a long story short, I figured, I'd put together a piece that can be worthy of something semi-common in the realm of conversation, just for the sake of nurturing the concept of Shamanistic healing through plants and herbs. My new developments will involve a lot of medicinal healing methods as well as traditional remedies from various cultures that in which will be decided in due time. For starters you can check out my small thesis on Kava, which is a small root that is ground up and consumed in the south pacific Islands, it's supposed to be a ceremonial drink that's been around for a really long time. it' helps you to relax allows you to meditate properly and even get some good sleep. But in excess, like many things it can prove to be harmful. But this kind of beverage can prove to be a remedy to lack of sleep and even for those high strung stress related issues.
Like many different kinds of remedies, they all have their sort of ritual that goes along with it, some heal your mind, some your spirit, and some even your soul, and they can be as simple as a cup of noodle soup, to something as complex as aromatherapy with some herbal tea. You drink some herbal tea after a long days work to help you relax, b ut you do this under a sort of self ritualistic realm, you play classical music or you do it right before you take a nap. Either way, it's all very personal, and what are healing properties and paintings but personal?
Very Personal Items.
I will keep you all posted and updated as this concept develops further, thanks again for checking in!
Love always,
